The Cabinet
The cabinet represents the artist's memory, her clear memories (the open lockers) and her repulsed memories, hidden behind the closed valves. She offers a look at herself (aren't we the products of our memories?). And at the same time she hides behind dates that only suggest events in her life. A painting next to the cabinet reflects the fact that art is dependent on memory. The Cabinet thus becomes a work on the direct link between art and memory.
