The Archive

Prints on brushed aluminium, acrylic, various sizes

A selection of reframings and digital treatment of pictures of the artist's family archives. Archiving codes have been printed upon the pictures, like secret formulas.

As the pictures contain references to objects within the installation of "The Cabinet", they are usually presented the one besides the other.

Below: exhibition view at the Biesme Castle (Belgium) and one of the prints (without the painted code), representing the mother of the artist wearing the glasses that are one of the objects within the cabinet.
